    MEMORY LANE"

    Running down the lane at dawn's early mist
    I've just heard the news
    Your car and body in such a twist

    Someone said you were calling my name
    Amongst the tangled metal and broken parts
    I know fully well, you'll never be the same!

    When I arrive, you are already gone
    All I have left is the memories and our song!

    Very nice poem although a bit sad but the feelings can be felt

    I really felt the strong emotions in this poem, I feel the anticipation, and the heartbreak. However, I felt the last stanza loses the mood of the rest of the poem. Aside from that, brillant job!
