    "Missing"

    My milk has a face
    Have you seen me before
    Sometimes I see that face
On TV or hanging on a bulletin board
Each time I see that face
    It is different from before
    Faces from many different states
    Most of them I adore
    Have you seen me
    If you have I implore
That you contact my parents, authorities, or more
    I want to go home
I don’t want to be missing anymore
I want to heal my family’s heart
    And walk through those doors

Until I saw a documentary about it, I had no idea how many children go missing every day, all over the world. It's beyond tragic; It's frightening! 10 for calling attention to a critical situation!

I have often thought of the families behind the faces. It's always heartbreaking.

Good job on this one. Very good piece of work thank you for letting me read it

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
