    Poem Commentary

Dedicated to my beautiful daughter whose innocence was stolen by a family member.

    "Stolen Innocence"

A cold rage seizes her space
    And
    Lies flow from black ravines.
Desperate mourners pound a child because of the sickness of a deviant mature man.

Deaf and Blind are women in mansions.
Dark as tombs, a child's hours seem like timeless Hell!
With burdens of youth, the months and years scar her brain
    And
The dreadful strain gives silent pain

Pray a Prayer, for this child that the Deaf and Blind
    may now hear and see.

Open the shutters to reveal this ominous crime.
A demon clothed in regal attire wanders her place.
The devil knows of his unspeakable deeds
    And
God will send a winged angel to obliterate his evil desire.

Time will help heal to dry all of her tears
    And
    Conquer the past.
To bring joy of life to this innocent child
So, she may find the road to heaven
    And
    Peace will be her guide.
