"THE DAILY RITUAL"

THE DAILY RITUAL

Each morning the sun would shine upon her bare skin
Morning Star was her name, she was a rare beauty
Body perfect, shapely, but thin

Sun bouncing off of her hair
Black and shiny, she would comb it out with her special shell
She would braid those tresses perfectly with such care

Late summer she came each morn just before the sun rose
She met her lover here, it was their secret
Each time she heard a twig snap, she froze

Her senses keen like a deer
Getting caught was something she couldn't have
It was something that she fear

He had been watching for at least a moon
If he caught it just right, he could watch them
Making love, seeing her in the act would make him swoon

Morning Star was her name
Born three winters before he
Her beauty was mesmorizing, even though he felt shame

Knowing better then to watch he did anyway
The white skin man would lift her, legs wrapping around him
Her breasts large and full, the sight made him sway

This was a daily ritual for the three
He wouldn't betray her
Because then it would betray he

Even though her being with white skin was very bad
He couldn't stand the thought of it being over
The end of this beautiful fantasy so sad

He was inexperienced and young
But his body reacted like that of a man
Actually, he was quite hung

When the white skin was having sex with her
He rubbed himself, thick and long
Dreaming of himself, loving Star on some fur

This would make him shoot his load each time
Why the daily ritual couldn't end
To not see this each morning, would certainly be a crime!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
