Raging Waters
The waters are raging
As I am fighting my raging for you
Inside I am angry at myself
I want to love
I dont want to hate
Is it fate
Or is it too late
Raging waters are near
But you are not here
Why oh why must you be far
Close I want you to be
Life is precious you see
I want the raging waters to be you
Near oh so near to me
I hate my fate
It is you
I fear are too late
You should have come
Like the raging waters
Back to me
But its too late
Is your fate....
Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
