rain dance

rain dance

a rainy day
damp and gray
wind is blowing
branches sway
leaves drip water
birds sip rain
lakes get wetter
umbrellas reign
inside my place
holding rein
against the elements
I remain
comfortable glad
watching through glass
the wonders of nature
not much can surpass

Yes sometime the rain also makes me feel lighter. Beautiful artistry of word to paint the picture.
