Rain
I stand in the rain, flesh rotting from the pain.
I have loved and lived and now its time to be free.
Free from u the one who hurts me so. I give you all
and u take. never giving in return.
The rain surrounds me like a shroud. A peaceful melting
of my heart and the sobbing subsides.
I gave you everything and you returned nothing.
I forgave u and loved u laughed with you
cried with u and even felt pride for u.
You gave nothing. you saw nothing in me.
I was just a stepping stone in your search for something new.
You never believed you were never true.
I hope u are happy in this life u live.
while i live in the pain.
You never know, true love may come with the rain.
