    Poem Commentary

just shooting for some interesting images in this one

    Rainbow Warrior

    i believe
    in samurai's flashing knives
in the dark heart of egypt
    painted faces redolent
    with perfume
    don helmets belching
    fire and brimstone
    ages of antiquity
    brought to life
beneath the hoe of a blade
    and a scalpers knife
    all the reasons
    to leave earth and fly
    into the sky
    plant your hearth
    rain down obscenities
    dark
    romantic
    soulful identities
    flutter to you
    bathe you in pure light
    cleanse your soul
and honor your tithe to the heavens in blood
    with each warrior howl
    wielding sword and maul
    the sun erupts
    and spews galaxies
    a moment split
    between foes and allies
    a sacred pact
    a bond of fire
    ignites in your belly
    and carries you higher...

That was sweet...I really enjoyed the imagery of the Sun exploding into galaxies...way sweet...I had a dream of something similar...The moon broke into three moons and then morphed into a sun that looked like an Atom with protons and neutrons flyen around it...and then a wave of fire flushed the surface and I woke up.

wonderful imagery, kinda reminds me of a coherent Jim Morrison, spoken in a full voice of static silence over still water...

thank you angel, keep reading and rating, i love every comment i get

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
