Raindrops

Poem Commentary

Kept getting distracted...oh look, a butterfly.

Raindrops

Raindrops falling from the sky
an amazing sight to see.
They glisten in your hair
as water covers you and me.
Raindrops spiraling to the ground
a peaceful sight to see.
The rain feels good in so many ways
how could you disagree?
Raindrops blanketing the earth
a calming sight to see.
We both know it won't last for long
so we watch until it flees.

Such beautiful imagery I can feel the rain as it caresses my my heart and soul with such tranquility and grace! I feel the true message of the poem is carpa diem! seize the day, enjoy the moment as long as it lasts for life is so short and precious. With all the hustle and bustle of the world very few now adays stop and take time to really enjoy life, soak in the special moments that we share, cherish the day while it lasts for night is always nearer than we realize. Beautiful poem my friend, truely inspiring! Makes me want to go sing in the rain right now, lol. Perhaps I see, perhaps I am blind. Purity of the soul, journey well!!! Angel aka The poem buster
