Raise Your Glasses

Raise Your Glasses

To every kiss, touch and heartache that never made it through
To everytime you ever lied, to every truth I never knew
For all the reasons that I'm sat here with tired thoughts inside my head
For every tear that graces the pillows, to the sheets on my lonely bed
I cant believe its come to this, for once and now for all
I'm hopelessly lost, through my choices alone and I'm far too scared to fall.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
