    Ray of Hope

When silence is transformed into a scream,
the dark phases of life can be seen,
    when the mind turns blind,
and nothing can be figured out,
    even divine blessings sound incapable,
the ray of hope is what we can b'lieve in.
    When dead feelings overtake mind,
    a surrounding depression around us,
the heart's happy but still sad,
a solitary being is all we become,
    even heartfelt wishes become worthless,
the ray of hope is what we can b'lieve in.
When everyone turn off their faces,
and we are left with nothing else behind,
money, power, no way remains with us,
instead of vast darkness in our hearts,
    even prayers turn useless,
the ray of hope is what we can b'lieve in.

When silence is transformed into a scream,

the dark phases of life can be seen,

    when the mind turns blind,

and nothing can be figured out,

    even divine blessings sound incapable,

the ray of hope is what we can b'lieve in.

    When dead feelings overtake mind,

    a surrounding depression around us,

the heart's happy but still sad,

a solitary being is all we become,

    even heartfelt wishes become worthless,

the ray of hope is what we can b'lieve in.

When everyone turn off their faces,

and we are left with nothing else behind,

money, power, no way remains with us,

instead of vast darkness in our hearts,

    even prayers turn useless,

the ray of hope is what we can b'lieve in.

That's the ticket...there is always hope. No matter how tough life gets, we can make it softer with our will........................................................gogant

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
