    This is dedicated to my Dad, Kenneth Green Sr. My prayers are with him always. Happy Father's Day to all the Real Men!

    Real Men

    Your role in this life-undefinable.
    Your duty to your kids-undeniable.
    Your place in the home-indescribable. 

    Will the real men of God
    Stand up and identify?
    And to the M.I.A.s of this
    Crazy generation, Now is 
    Not the time!

    And we desperately need
    Real men to step up their game
    In teaching their daughters and sons!
    Now is not the time
    Or place, to be idle or
    Twiddle your thumbs!

    Will the real men of God
    Please take this place?
    We desperately need you
    To step up to the plate!

    All positions are open,
    No time to be camera shy...
    You will never succeed at
    Anything in this life if
    You never try!

    And to the real men
    Working two jobs,
    Giving their kids, Dreams
    Just Holding it down-
    I tip my hat off to
    You because you are needed
    Not later-Now!

    Will all the real men of God
    Please self-identify?

    I absolutely love this poem. I mean men do need to step up in the genre of manhood, especially in the times of today. Most men are failing to step up and this poem is a calling/reminder that they have a duty too.

    I just shared this with my facebook friends , i love this one ,, it's not a male , dead beat basher , it's a call to attention . men. maybe what your priority is , is off .. maybe what your standing up for is off , you keep picking the petty issues to amplify ... please get it together for us , for yourself
