Rebirth

What you want, you don’t get

A depression is draggin’ you down

Pulls you into an endless gorge, into a burning house

Burns you up and spits you back out

Then you crawl, then you walk

Then you dream, then you thought

“Pull me back down,

Pull me back down,

Spit me back out

To be born again”

To the beat of the drum, I move along

To the eyes of the beast I sing her a song
