Recalling Visions
I have seen many things either with my eyes or ears
And, some might be things others have not seen which could be more from my ears.
Those could be only a pigment of my imagination
But, some pleasant ones have become a memory to me as gum sticks to a shoe.
The least desire ones have similar stick connection to my shoe as gum
But, it shares same aroma with another thing that I know sticks to a shoe.
This less pleasant memory does make me openly speak about it more
But, I do remember the event more from what I heard as to its scent.
It is possible it made me more compassionate as well as being suspicious.
The people who I had loved have not made that memory fad away any easier.
I guess everyone gets disappointed when they loss their innocence, too.
Mine has it way of popping up in front of the line when three notes reprise their tune.
I could attempt to revisit that day
But, it has a charm of revisiting a delightful nightmare that Mary Shelley had to endure.
The birth of the song that rekindles my deepest daymare has its own irony.
I have seen or done other things that only seem to have appeared as my dream
But, their conversations or actions may have proven that it was a dream but less in mine.
Both of these dreams or mares have a way to tie up my hands from telling it all.
I might omit what might appear a word(s) to simply a letter within a word or the spelling
But, I know only a true friend will overlook those mistakes of mine.
I cannot say if anyone else would be as easy to forgive me on those mistakes
And so, I would just compose from its highlights as to plunge deeper within my visions.
