    RECOURSE - [A Song]

     I am a simple, peaceful man,
    I wouldn't hurt a fly.
    I'd run before I'd ever fight,
    I wouldn't want to die.

    I am a quiet man of peace,
    I want to do what's good.
    But I'll defend most anyone
    Who's cornered by some hood

                    (Chorus)
    I have a knife called, Cut Me Loose,
    An', Get Me There's my horse.
    My ax, it's name is Chop the Goose,
    I call my gun. . . . .Recourse.


    There's one thing riles me every time,
    It's seein' good folks hurt.
    An' every bad guy I can find
    I leave 'em in the dirt.

    There's just some things I can't abide,
    Like schemes to do folks in.
    An' you who play on sympathy
    Commit some kind a' sin.

                      (Chorus)

    I know there's some folks who might say
    I've stooped to bad guys ways,
    But I will stop when folks don't fear,
    An' nights are safe as days.

    So if yer out there hurtin' folks
    Or pushin' drugs on kids,
    I know one day you'll see my face,
    An' you'll wish you never did.

                    (Chorus)
