    recycled past

You really think you know me
but you only know my name
    the sparkle in my eyes
    true silhouettes of pain

    a different kind of man
    to mend a wounded soul
    claim to prove your worth
    a not so noble goal

    clouds with silver linings
    promises of change
    my knight and shining armor
    the past replays again

Thank you, it's easier when you are writing from experience... unfortunately this is the theme of my life lol

Thank you. I enjoy doing it but never made any real investment in it.

Can you say a word but use something else? Like your poem.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
