Red Kilt Dreams

I have been dreaming of my homeland, thick, lush, and green.

I hear the sounds of bagpipes to them I haven’t seen.

I walk in my red kilt with socks high, white, and clean.

I’m free to dream of things untold, of yester- years where times unfold.

I see a stoned castle standing tall and firm, with roots that I can not confirm.

Songs of winds, games of old, tossing up ward trees for gold.

I have been dreaming of my homeland thick, lush, and green of which only my mind paints the seen.

YES by all means, it would such an honor!

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
