Reflection
I stare into deepest depths,
of the eyes looking back at me,
Trying to figure out,
exactly what it is I see.
The image that is before me;
Seems like someone I use to know,
Someone who's vaguely familiar,
But was lost to me long ago.
She sacrificed so many things,
In her quest for happiness,
That she lost herself along the way,
In her search to find true bliss.
She now sees the error of her ways,
Upon further introspection,
and knows that her only chance for true happiness,
Can only be found in her own reflection.
