Reflections

In the stillness of the house, there lies in wait a possible strand of happiness, of joy.
It lurks in the shadows, waiting to spring forth and capture your heart in a vice of emotions overwhelming.
Exuberance stands in the doorway of the dwelling, begging permission to enter and expand into the cracks of pain and remorse.
Creeping into the seams and stitches of the pieces of a lonely heart, filling and overflowing until nothing is left but the traces of a smile long lost to the fire.

It eases the suffering, and causes the eyes to once again brighten from the Sun's kisses of wings.
There will be no more sorrow, for Joy has permantly destroyed it's claws.

Wow I can feel a person with alot of forgiveness and a positive spirit in this poem. Joy does always over come sadness with time like the message here. God Bless BikemanRJ

This was a great positivity read. It didn't insist upon itself, it didn't force it's happiness on you, it was simply a nice piece of writing that delivered. Great imagery, as well.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
