Poem Commentary

ITSIN THE LAST BREATH THAT SALVATION COMES..................despair not......

REKINDLED

The grave terrors upon me laid as death cords held me,
lowest did i befall.
Forward i did enspy as my eyes covered witi tears,
my fet stubbled with each step...
to Faith i tried cling but it scorned me...
my soul drained of hope....
like bees evil swarm around and to fall was i about...
But In distress and dispair i wailed out to th the abyss as did i recall my Lord-GOD: ''salvation grant to this lost soul, O God!''.
Afar did i forsee alight HOPE!, did it bring and with it LIFE......
Again Lord did thee REKINDLED ME.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
