    Poem Commentary

    The first poem I had wirtten in years and my first all rhyming poem. Almost all my poems since this one have rhymed. I originally wrote this about two years ago, but it seems like more time has passed since then. Funny how every moment seems to last forever and yet it is gone in the blink of an eye.

    Remember

    You may think this just a silly rhyme,
    but memory holds the keys to time.
    And on it's beautiful wings we fly,
    to a place where nothing will really die.
    The place we go may be happy or sad,
    but just remember,
    We wouldn't have good without the bad.

    An uncomplicated expression of a basic truth told in brief, charming style. You have a sharp understanding of the meaning of the concept of "less is more", and you use it to exquisite effect. Sharp work, Seraphina.

    Thank you. I love how you write. Your words flow like water in the rivers of life, and express the very essence of a thought described. I believe that a poem is an extension of the author's mind and you have a beautiful mind. I particularly loved your poem "The Canticle". It was so hertfelt it brought tears to my eyes.

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
