    • Just completed my new collection of poems, "Time Machine", a collections of Rock Ballads to set your own music to.

    remembering: 1am

    once, so in touch
    and connected
    to the moment
    of deep kisses

    now taking up time
    making up dreams
    and remembering you

    twice, if recall is correct
    summer moons
    fell to earth, baptizing
    the dangers of love

    now making up time
    taking up dreams
    and remembering you

It is a good thing to reacquaint ourselves once in a while, remembering those deep kisses, and "taking up dreams"! I like the transition in progress, having learned those lessons...Very nice!

thank you! tried not to be toooo sentimental here....but it is always good to remember those deep kisses of the past.

marxred, The beauty of this is its longing and passion said simply without flowering it up too much. A poem that is not so mushy like this, is more of a love poem to me, then those that repeatedly dote on the subject incessantly. ginga

i know what you mean, ginga. love can be so hard to write about, at times. most of my work has some kind of music to it, even if it is only in my head and not fully composed....i do try to not write something that sounds like a greeting card, sometimes i succeed, sometimes i fail....lol. thank you for your kind comment and encouragement.

Very beautiful! I believe there is some kind of music in your work.

    and in your work also

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
