Requiem For Life
I saw a man his hair was long
I soon found out he was too headstrong
Stood there and looked him in the eye
Felt for sure one of us would die
Soon his teeth began to show
He said you won't to fight or go
We turned and walked opposite ways
He was shot in an alley in a few days
Culture spins and weaves your soul
Till your personality begins to glow
You highlight your life with joy and pain
Hoping your soul can be regained
If your right and you do win
Then your life will truly begin
So push the envelope with all your might
Express your heart and all that's right
I'd write some more of this for you
But you look like you have no clue
You don't understand what I'm trying to say
So just get out of my way
As I journey on the course of life
Filled with hatred and much strife
I try to keep my mind so clear
So I'll go by and get out of here
Eternity is what I will seek
It's a journey for the meek.
I soon found out he was too headstrong
Stood there and looked him in the eye
Felt for sure one of us would die
Soon his teeth began to show
He said you won't to fight or go
We turned and walked opposite ways
He was shot in an alley in a few days
Culture spins and weaves your soul
Till your personality begins to glow
You highlight your life with joy and pain
Hoping your soul can be regained
If your right and you do win
Then your life will truly begin
So push the envelope with all your might
Express your heart and all that's right
I'd write some more of this for you
But you look like you have no clue
You don't understand what I'm trying to say
So just get out of my way
As I journey on the course of life
Filled with hatred and much strife
I try to keep my mind so clear
So I'll go by and get out of here
Eternity is what I will seek
It's a journey for the meek.
