    RESPECT ( ORIGINAL VERSION)

There are rules to be followed

    And you may not agree

But when you’re in my house

You will listen and respect me

    I don’t ask for much

Just for you to do your part

    When I say that’s enough

    Don’t be getting smart

    You don’t get to yell

    Or be mean and unkind

That is when I speak up

And I will draw the line

    I am not that strict

And my rules are very few

And when I put my foot down

    You better get a clue

    No talking back

    Do what I say

    And if you’re getting angry

    It’s ok to walk away

    Don’t flip me off

    Swear or call me names

    Listen to what I’m saying

    I’m not playing games

    And if you disrespect me

    Then know without a doubt

    This is my house

And I will throw you out

Very "conversational" which I consider a very good thing. I especially like the following: And if you disrespect me Then know without a doubt This is my house And I will throw you out
