    Restless

     It's cold
    No blanket can warm you
    It's quiet
    No sound can break the intensity

    The time passes slow motion
    Tossing and turning in confinement
    Losing feeling forgetting sunlight
    Tragically awaiting the moment to live again

    It's lonely
    Like no one else is there
    It's dark
    No light can make the shadows disappear

    I can't seem to grasp the essence
    My eyes are glued open
    And I witness my breath escape from within me
    How can I be so restless?

    Images train through my mind
    Tunnel vision zooming at the speed of light
    Blackness hits and erratic thoughts now R.I.P
    Now I find myself awake but nothing has changed
