Restoration.

If your heart is cold, from the pressures life can bring,
just think of how the flowers, always bloom again in spring.

Throughout every winter, when cold has done it's worst,
those fresh, gentle flowers, always start with such a burst.

Heavy snows each wintertime, strong winds and harshest frost,
still those flowers are restored, and renewed, not lost.

If you lost a tenderness, that at one time you possessed,
your heart can be made warm again, in spite of winters test.

If the warmth you had within, has changed to subtle chill,
that warmth can be regained, tho life's to you been ill.

If some dream you once have had, just has'nt come to pass,
God can give you better ones, that are real and last.

So don't give up, but run to God,  seek him with expectation,
for every ill that you possess,  He is your medication.

Thank you for your encouraging words.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
