Poem Commentary

Just thinking of golf and the like, which lead to retirement and how most people take up things like that after retiring, and it lead to this.

Retirement

Maybe I'll start liking golf
or maybe learn to paint.
I'll sleep in for the first few days
and live without complaint.

Of course I'll miss the working days,
and feeling I'm accomplished.
But now I'll have some time to play
and keep my trophies polished.

But how will I keep busy now?
What about things I admired?
Know what, no, I changed my mind
I really don't want to retire.
