    Poem Commentary

    The movie, The Crow, is one of my all time favorites, if not my most favorite movie of all time.  I was always a fan of the graphic novels and Alex Proyas did a superb job of bringing it to film, second only to the portrayal of Eric Draven by the late Brandon Lee.  If you haven't seen this movie, I greatly recommend it.  You won't be sorry.

    This is my tribute to Lee in his last and fantastic portrayal he brought to the big screen.

    Revenge is a Four Letter Word
    A raven is perched upon my headstone
    Watching the people come and go
    I never really had a chance
    Never had a chance to know
    Just how many souls would miss me
    And how deeply they would grieve
    And just as I had found true love
    It was time for me to leave
    Murdered at the hand of others
    Cast out to my death below
    And now it's time to avenge that death
    And what's coming, they will never know
    I will rise up this night
    More powerful than I was in life
    I know where you are and where you sleep
    For you took from me my beautiful wife
    So be thankful for the time you have
    For I am coming after you
    And no matter how strong you may think you are
    Death is coming with me too.

    i love the crow. this is an awesome tribute.it is a sad loss of life but what better role to be remembered in.wonderful
