    Poem Commentary

i wrote this a long time ago....

rhythm of the wind (who am i?)

    my feet to the ground
as i walk to the rhythm of the wind,
    head held high,
proud to be me, but who am i?
seeing familiar faces as i pass by
do they know who i am?
    do they see me?
am i free, to be me?
    my feet to the ground
as i walk to the rhythm of the wind
    head held high,
proud to be me, but who am i?
on the street familiar cars pass,
    they drive by fast,
    honking their horns,
    then it dawns....
    they must know me.
    feet to the ground
as i walk to the rhythm of the wind,
    head held high,
proud to be me, but who am i?

I like this. It sounds as if you're trying to figure out who you are inside. emotion wise and all. Yet on the outside a beautiful creation.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
