    Poem Commentary

Working hard for what we want: sometimes it is worth our lives...

    RIOT

    Burning bodies
    Strewn across the street,
    And torches
    Destroying our town
    On this most horrifying
    And exciting night.
    Screams are clouding
    The empty air
    As this town
    Falls down tonight.
    Bloody massacres
    And crying children,
    Our lives are over
    Tonight.
    Tonight our lives are over,
    Because tonight
    We start a riot.

LOVE THIS! I'm sort of a darker person, so I love things like this. I like it a lot. It's great that you're not afraid to write things that might disturb someone. lol

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
