  • Im backkkkkk :) And will post more poems again soon!!

Rock & Roll.

Rock & Roll.

It fill my brain, the flowing vein
vibrations in my ears.
To make you move & let you groove
to sing throughout the years.

Working pencils to the core
the thought is incomplete.
Nothing here I'll have to score
the styles obsolete.
Changing rhythems into timeless
open empty spaces.
Move along, no hesitation
onto other places.

People places, same old faces
world without a care.
Comes the time you look around
and no ones really there.
Looks of dark & dreary thoughts
abound within the town.
Everywhere you try to run
will always bring you down.

Girl you & I have got the power
deep within our soul.
Yes you and I have got the strength
to get out of the hole.
Cause you and I have got a style
of losing all control.
And everybody loves to hear
some good old rock & roll.

Worrying about situations
life is just a bore.
In the times of aggravation
search for something more.
Look around inside your mind
and you will recognize.
The way you feel about yourself
is showing in your eyes.

On into a paradise,
so far beyond the limits.
Far into another world
that no one ever visits.
Pretty soon when everybody
sees you in your glory.
Everyone you never knew
will want to know your story.

When you seek some peace of mind
instead of feeling dull.
When you dont need somebody else
to satisfy your soul.
When your feeling less insane
yet losing all control.
Get aboard the crazy train
a thing called rock & roll.

Thank You :) Thats actually one of the poems I wrote, that I like best too. hard to beleive its almost 30 years since I wrote most of these.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
