    romance is gone

     What happened to wooing a heart
    Guess that's for fooling from the start
    So much for two hearts sharing
    And above all caring
    Everyone's game, is the same
    Society's corruption to blame
    Romance is lost
    Love pays the cost
    No ounce of dignity
    Left in humanity
    It's all about lust
    Instead of trust
    And that's not right
    Chivalry lost it's fight
    No more pulling out chairs
    Unwritten love letters tares
    Romance is simply hopeless
    Humanity could careless
    It just don't exist
    Dumped off the list
    So much for etiquette
    Flowers and chocolate
    Just to impress the one
    Romance is gone
    Becoming a danger to mingle
    And be single
    It's not how it used to be
    Especially for a hopeless romantic like me
