    Sad eyed angel

I know an angel with emotions signed mask
Her heart beating a slow and steady Jesus task
So many wounds left bleeding and untreated
Simply to remind herself what she previously defeated

Her poison is where it hurts most
It is having a party foreshadowing you as host
What distracts you from an obvious antidote?
Is it your faiths compass or a holographic quote?

There is someone spelling your name in rainy tears
Careful there may be clones watch how each steers
Sad eyed angel please continue your song
You may tenderize those that don’t have long

You’re never alone no matter where you hide
    Your serving polishes your halo
    Attracting ones you can confide
Sad eyed angel please don’t cry
Your gifts may guide some to live
Even after they are to die

Pick up the phone you have new messages
Sad angel it is time to grow and sweep this mess
Sad eyed angel please don’t let me down
Take your wrecks to the father
He shall surely tow them out of town

That sad ol angel shed a tear but not via sadness because you cheered that fluffy winged being with this poem!Good job!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
