    Sands of Time

    If only I could turn back the sands of time

    Would I see a world that was meant to be

    Different and clear

    So bright and so near

    If only I could turn back the sands of time

    I would walk a different path

    Einstein's intellectual power

    Cleopatra's standing

    If only I could turn back the sands of time

    Who would I dare to be

    I was dealt these cards

     Must make due

    So no more dreaming

     Cleopatra's standing in the sands

    Of time

    Interesting read. I like poems about time. I am sort of an Einstein fan myself. I have several poems about time and the old genius. I was a little confused with the "sands of time", more used to the "hands of time". I lked it though. Thanks for sharing and welcome to OP. Oh, and thanks for reading my Seagull poem.     I SOMETIMES WISH I COULD EFFECT SOME CHANGES IN "THE SAND OF TIME", BUT ALAS, NO!!! IT ALL LOOKS LIKE DESTINY CAN'T BE ATTAINED BY THE LONG HANDS OF CHANGE.I AGREE!!! WHAT A GOOD WORK!!!

    I think we might all do things a little differently if we could relive certain moments... but it's also important to remember that the choices we make (good and bad) and the lessons that we gain from those choices are what shapes us as a person in the long run... great job on this :)
