    This poem was created for a poem challenge where you had to pick a group or musician and use at least 5 song titles in the poem. This is my best Savage Garden poem. Hope you like it....all comments are welcome!

    Savage Garden Dedication


    Savage Garden

    “I want you” to know that your love brings out

    The “fire inside the man”

    When you “hold me” close

    It feels like I have been given a gift

    A gift so precious and rare

    That nothing or no one anywhere can compare

    From the first time we met “I knew I loved you”

    My love for you can deliver us” to the moon and back”

    A journey in time and space that leads me to say

    I “Truly, Madly, Deeply” love you

    For without your love my heart would

    Surely “Crash and Burn”

    And my life wouldn’t be the same

    Because you aren’t here to say my name

    great work cmarsh, I'm a fan of them myself, and how you made it out to be about love is very creative as well. Someone will get with you soon on the entry answer, gotta get with the group first for discussion.

    Thanks it was fun to do this one. I was a DJ 15 years ago and have about 20,000 songs in my collection. So finding songs wasn't a problem.Picking the artist was.

    I love to hear and feel the passion coming from a man's view of love. This was written with sch feeling and passion...I loved it. great job!
