Scarlet Freedom

Poem Commentary

This is the final poem in her journey. All the pain and suffering of the other two are over.

Scarlet Freedom

As the Scarlet Rain pours,
Her tears begin to fall.
But these tears are not scarlet,
Not scarlet at all.

She knows now,
This must end.
Right here and right now.
So all scars have time to mend.

She gets up from the ground,
And the clouds begin to clear.
She looks to the sky,
And sees the sun for the first time in a year.

She leaves behind the addiction,
Leaves behind all the strife,
all the pain and affliction.
She has something to live for now.

A love beyond measure,
that's what she found.
This is no simple pleasure,
It's life all arond.

So instead of crying, lying, dieing,
She's walking to Him and leaving her past behind.
All the people that made her feel this way,
Are out of sight and out of mind.

And now she only lives for the light.

I love the story teller in you not only do you flow you create a beginning and end awsome read thanx....

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
