Life of a drug addict is one of great shame,
Of widespread abuse and one of many pains,
A good life devalued, feeling worthless as a penny,
Determine what you are worth if your life's worth any,
Show to the world your life is of priceless value,
Make greater choices and prove the haters untrue.

So many stories are told of diseases through needle contamination,
Prostitution, and receiving death because of desperation,
The satisfaction of one's unsatiable urges to consume,
Big destruction of internal organs from its vapor and its fumes,
Distruction caused by blood borne diseases, aids and hepatitis are some,
Many once so promising, it's surprising what they've become.

When in life one's decided to choose a pathway of crack,
You're saying to the world that you're life's not on track,
Go seek the best of help you may, oh thou addicted soul,
Make choices for a better way, be decisive and be bold,
Sober up and make the choices better for your life,
God has given mercy and tons of reasons to survive,
Turn around, enjoy and live that fuller and meaningful life.

Some folks believe that their lives is not ones of worth
I am sure that our Father loves everyone here on earth,
Place great value on yourselves and do not pain inflict,
Ask for liberation of your heart and soul from being an addict.
You can gain the strength to break it in God's power,
Allow Him full control of your life each day and passing hour.

Submit to God and leave cocaine and crack,
Meth or morphine get your life on track,
Weed or speed of whatever kind,
It's a demon and don't bring peace of mind,
For in God your life is of worth,
In Him is victory, and acheiving rebirth.
Seeking help from strong people is wise,
You are loved though lonely, so don't be surprised.
