    Scrap Demon

    My course is set
    I have begun my journey
    Your people are sick
    But they make me sicker
    The darkness that eats
    Shares its bounty with you
You take it in, and it drinks
    your wisdom.

    I have watched for eternities
    Longer than time's patience
I have seen the greed as it
    consumes your souls.
I see the see the corrupted harvest
you reap and the demons you sow.
    The visions taint my perspective,
    causing my disgust to grow.

I despise what I see and look away.
Do you realize your folly? Your ruse?
Must you neglect your tools of abuse?
The sea of darkened angels share a sigil
A mark of self-pity and glyphs of sorrow.
They believe for them, they don't affect
tomorrow, but why should their wings bare
the spectrum of peace? The freedom of
    release?

    Chip-chop doth the words floweth.
A rocky torrent down a jagged path.
The sun sets for us in the morning
As the moon rises at dawn.
We look to these demons of scrap
emotions and spirits and we look away.
    The half-people, the incomplete, and
the wayward. I will be the death of you.
    What am I?

Awesome, I love the ending, sorta Keatsish, but Alexgrey Its a portrait for sure, let me know when you add more

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
