    Poem Commentary

    Have you ever had a real 'itching' to do sumthin?  To the point of obsession?     Join the party'

    Scratch my Itch

    I can't get you off my mind, since I saw you on the street
    And the memory, clouds my tastes, just like a wine.
    And to have you in my arms, to embrace all of your charms
    And feel your fingers on me all the time.

    I'm infected with desire, that grows stronger every hour;
    You alone, can make my body squirm and twitch.
    No doctor with his pill can cure me of my ill;
    Only you alone, can scratch my awful itch.

    So please don't hesitate but help me while I wait
    Is the aiding of distress, now such a crime?
    You have the gifts of pleasure, ones I love to treasure
    So use them as you scratch, this itch of mine.

    This itch is no disorder, brought in, from cross the border
    but, existed since the beginning, of our time.
    You, may try to hesitate, but I'll contaminate, your heart
    will itch in earnest, just like mine.

    It will be fulfilling, but only if you're willing,
    So take a breath and forget about the time.
    My love for you is yearning, and I can used the learning,
    And my itch grows ever stronger as I pine.

    What started like a chigger, keeps on growing bigger
    and, can consume us if it's given, a small chance.
    I, now wonder as I swoon, and while gazing at the moon,
    Shoul it change this incredible itch into romance.

    That's what it's all about, with all the added clout
    The feelings that overcome, the heart and mind.
    It's what is in the caring, and also with the sharing,
    So how bout I'll scratch yours, and you scratch mine?

    But if I lose my breath, don't scare me half to death
    Just take over, for a real short span of time;
    I could never be without you, have a fear, or even doubt ya
    Jus so long, you scratch this wonderful itch, of mine.

    Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
