sealed,

A mornin coffee,
We had once shared
Wrinkled grin
I remembered

Got ‘tis found haven
Only both of us
Could fathom
Got ‘tis found words
Only both of us
Could utter

Yet your eyes
So distant like the stars
The breathin I hear
Are faint ,more than a baby’s weak cry
The warmth
Quickly freezes
The sunshine
Sets in an instant

A puzzle you’ll remain
A riddle I can’t explain
A question I can’t answer
An enigma I forever know?

I told you I would be watching for another poem. Another fine poem, Sounds like someone went away that you cared for and now wonder where they are? Doug

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
