    Seasons of life.

    You watch your childhood
    blow away
    like sands in the desert.

    You see youth
    wash away
like sands on a river bank.

    Old age
    approaches
    like the rains.

    And, eternity
    beckons
    like the sun.

I wonder how old you are for the wisdom generated in these few words. I found myself wondering about the wind of my childhood, the thunder of my youth, the hurricane of aging and the feat of forever. very inspiring.

    Good poem - speaks truth.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
