    There is a place so deep
    Safety lives there
    Joy walks hand in hand with peace
    Ripples of love everywhere

    From heart to heart, words interchange
    Unspoken, but clear
    Intimacy knows no range
    Total extinction of fear

    Nearer, my God, to thee
    Engulfed within your glory
    I never want to leave
    This blissful refuge for me

    Inner sanctum so serene
    Taste of the sweet by and by
    Like I walked into a dream
    Secret place of the Most High.

    Beyond a feeling or attitude, there is a reality which is shared with those who have put their lives in His hand: the secret place of the Most High God. To know cleansing, acceptance and the beauty of His Holiness is an often missed stop on the path of life. Thanks for sharing the Awesome beauty of our Father!

    Utopia!!!...I have found you at last lol. The description and the imagery here were all on the level of giving the warm fuzzies. If only this place existed on earth...le sigh

    oh, there is... heaven on earth, a place of such peace... that's why it's a secret! you've got to enter the "holy of holies" to get to that state. it is attainable if you stay in prayer and constant submission to God... tx again for reading ;-)

    thanks a lot, erica... this poem was inspired by Psalms 91:1 - "He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Gotta love that scripture, always one of my faves ;-)
