    Poem Commentary

    PR 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death,and those who love it will eat its fruit. We must give an account for what we say out of our mouths.

    Secret Weapon

     Open wide and drip down
    Poison from it's tip-
    Or honey from the comb-
    Or it can be
    The slime that oozes
    From it's pore that causes
    You to slip up and
    Say such simple things
    That lead to wrong ways,
    That justify wrong actions,
    And keep you down
    The wrong road that
    Only leads to your fall-

    Choice of words is yours

    The Gun you carry
    In your mouth can
    Be used for good or hate-
    It can kill thousands
    Or it can be the thing
    That changes the tides
    Of your fate into something
    Worthwhile or even Great!

    Depends on what you say....

    What you say means
    More than what you
    Pretend to know and do...
    It's reflection of what
    Is truly inside your heart
    And what you are
    Going to do when your
    Life is being tested.

    Will you pass or fail?

    Will your sword destroy you
    Or will you be it's master?

    Very good and strong detail, but EWWW. I read this again when I am older, I think I am still just way to young~Alis

    I do not believe you are too young to understand that words have power. You must be careful how you use them, especially at the age you are now sweetie

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
