    SEED OF LIFE

we start out life as a seed
of love, passion, lust, and need
we grow inside a peaceful pod
while cupped in the hands of God
soon our mother gives us birth
thus our life begins here on earth
held safely against mom’s fruitful breast
content as a bird snug in it’s nest
we grow and sip the milk of love
as angels guide us from above
suddenly we reach for the stars
and drive a little to fast in cars
our lives will be of our own
soon our own seed will be sown
it is time to write our own story
as we love we’ll share the glory
    slowly aging always growing
with love and hate always knowing
we’re here to live, grow, laugh, cry
    love, learn, wither, and die

Truely a lovely poem from beginning to end. The saga of human life is told in a lovely flow of words and rhyme.

That is a very cool way of writting about parenting or growing. As your words walk us through the levels of your poem to, the end ! Excellently done. Thank you for sharing.
