Seething

Seething

Bitter...oh yes

one would look upon hot eyes

as daggers, wrangled in mess

thirsty...

to watch blood pour

solemnly,

awaiting last breath

temples throbbing

anguish knashing at trouble

empty and wild

in my chest

insatiable desires

flesh in fires

unspeakable torture

distress

misfortune says nothing

of what

I confess

One could feel the rage with every line within......almost like fighting an evil thing, almost like loving.........sometimes it's hard to tell where the line is drawn. You are talented..........................g

I dont think i know, that this is nothing to what you were feeling, this may have been a dot to the rage, anguish and anger that burned inside you in that moment or moments in time. To the ones who have done wrong against you, i can see vengeance being retuned. Outright VICIOUS! I like it!

You understood it very clearly, a perfect rage, was this poem. I was beyond enraged when I wrote this and needed to vent it to avoid damage to myself. Thank you for your clarity and comments. I seriously appreciate your response to it. I do hope you will review more of my poems. I am interested in your response to them.

You vent with the precision and destructive force of a missle! I felt my teeth grind while reading this very effective write - 10 from me

Your use of words that appeal to the senses bring out every irate word here. I would not want to be in the path of the "Seething." ginga

I had to release it on paper, or should I say, Unleash it- or it would kill me. Literally! Thanks for your comments.

Sounds like torment of the soul and heart-sickness...only because I have had some bouts with it, now and again. You have presented me with a wrestling of emotions in the arena of your mind, and, without confession and reckoning, you may not survive. the tone is descript in regret and pain that has no words, but, a price to pay. Applause crescendo!

Thanks for reading and it really is a reckoning that must be realized either in a spoken word or on paper, as it were- because it must be released or it will tear apart the insides of yourself, so therefore it results in a poem. Many thanks for your perspectives.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
