    Selfish

    I was the one worth leaving

    Self-centered

    No attention given

    I was the one worth leaving

    You tried

    You even went the extra mile for me

    I failed to see your love

    The only thing I could see

    Is my will

    I lost you dear

     In shock

    I don’t know how to act

    How to react is the question

    As you walk away

    You wait to see a tear

    Even a cry from me

    But as you look back

    I hold the tears

    I refuse to let you see

    You got to me

    All I see

    Is what destroyed me in Iraq

    You don’t understand

    I killed

    And I lost

    Over there

    After that

    There is no tears

    Left for home

    For the petty issues of our spoiled culture

    I'm home a lone

    And that is my curse for life

    War... The end of life.. Not all life just some life... One is to many and more is to much. To fight evil does it make you evil... The problem with war none win. Just death and dispair I hear it in your cry... Thanks to God for all that lived and didn't die... As your duty you came back alive as others didn't.. I get it.. God needs you here as he needed me... Maybe the tragedy was for Him to show you He is greater then all that evil that couldn't take you from His will... Write and spread His love... For if that's all that's left wouldn't the rest stop their fuss.. Red
