SET ME FREE
I go to bed at night and all I see; are the shadows on the wall,
Reminiscent of a passion we once shared; but now, now it's gone.
As I'm laying there trying to sleep; but my slumber doesn't come,
For what once use to be my sweet dreams;
Has now become a nightmare of hurt undone.
I start to remember our nights together; in loves warm embrace,
As I stare at the ceiling I'm caught in the rapture;
Of another time, another place.
Back then it all seemed so clear to me; like our love was meant to be,
But now this hurt is too much to bear, and I wish life would just set me free
