Shall Shay deliver me?

Shall Shay deliver me?

Her eyes were closed
and we were nose to nose

I was about to but didn't
it only lasted an instant

She said, with a subtle chord of Tennessee twang,
"you don't have to if you don't want to."
And I, being the second supreme a$s of the universe said,
"there's someone else"

Sorry Shay
she was a little too tipsy

and evidently
i'm a little too ditsy
