    Poem Commentary

Not the greatest poetry in the world but I am still finding myself trying to truly understand my darkness and sorrow.

    Shattered

Surrounded by pieces of glass I wonder how long it will take me to fix my shattered past. The pieces lay on the floor every piece has something inside. One has my happiness of the day of my love the other contain nothing but dark secrets that caused me pain. Is this a sign that I must pick up all my shattered remains or must I like everyone else suffer in the dark with a shattered soul.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
