    She Painted It Pink
    Awakened by the light
    as already like day
    by the breaking of the night
    you sent my sadness away
    my tears you dried
    by the breeze of the morning
    when I looked out
    and saw the message you were forming
    A pink rose colored world
    greeted my eyes
    Your favorite of colors
    you painted the sky
    A sign well read
    of happy beginnings
    a life anew
    and beautiful feelings
    Comfort I felt
    from whom I needed it most
    When the world turned pink
    and peace you proposed.

    Isn't it something how we all put our happiness in the hands of another, giving them the power to make or break us? BUT... that is the way of love. So what can we do? I am glad the hands you are in appear to be gentle. Good poem.
